Registration

 

Returning students: Placement information for Fall is included on the dancer’s Evaluation & Placement for 2023-24 form.

New students: Please contact us to schedule a placement appointment if you are interested in classes above Primary, Beginner, or Level 1. We’ll contact you with placement information after the evaluation. There is no fee for evaluation in one genre during available current group classes. The private evaluation fee is $85 /hour.

Once you have created an account, you may add students and select classes based on our recommendations. Your requested classes are forwarded to the Administrative Assistant for approval and payment processing. Once approved, you’ll be able to see your dancer’s schedule and more on Danceworks. A dancer's registration is not complete until payment has been processed.

There is a non-refundable $40 registration fee per dancer or $50 per family for Academic Year semester classes.

All listed ages are as of September 1, 2024.

  

Dancers are automatically registered for the full academic year, including recital.

  

Families must notify the studio in writing or via email if their dancer will not be returning for 2nd semester and/or will not be performing in recital.

A reminder will be sent November 1st. 

  

Recital costumes are NOT included in Tuition. Costumes fees (per class): 

• $100Primary levels; 

• $120 Level 1 classes and above

  

Recital costume payments are automatically charged November 11th.

  

Dancers are measured for costumes in November. Costume orders, once placed by the studio in November, may not be cancelled or returned.

Tuition 

Semester Payment option:

1st Semester Tuition payment is due at registration.

Recital costume payment is due November 11, 2024.

2nd Semester Tuition payment is due January 13, 2025.

 

Full Year Tuition payment option:

Receive a 5% discount when you make the full academic year tuition payment at registration.

Dancers are also eligible for a multi-class discount with full-year tuition payment! Please notify us via email if you would like to take advantage of this payment option.

  

Student Multi-Class Discounts

Multi-Class discounts are available when a student takes 3 or more classes. 

Register for:

3 classes and receive a 3% discount on all 3 classes. 

4 classes and receive a 4% discount on all 4 classes. 

5 classes and receive a 5% discount on all 5 classes…

Maximum multi-class discount 7%

Class Attire

Jenny’s Dance Centre has a strict dress code. The full dress code is available on our Dress Code  page  and on the posters at the studio. Dancers may be not be allowed to participate in class if they are not in dress code at the discretion of the instructor or director.​

DANCE SHOES MUST NOT BE WORN OUTDOORS. EVER. Including hip hop sneakers!!

  

Waiver & Release

The Jenny’s Dance Centre Waiver & Release form has been updated. All families must update their approval in Danceworks (approval on or after June 1, 2022) or sign a hard copy(available in the studio or via email by request) before their dancer may attend Fall semester classes.
