Jenny's Dance Centre serves the Chicago area communities of Lake Bluff, Lake Forest, Libertyville, Lincolnshire, Mundelein, Gurnee, Green Oaks, Vernon Hills, Waukegan and other surrounding communities. June 6, 2009: Parent Visitation Pre-school Levels/Non-Recital Levels
June 8-14, 2009: Spring Recital Rehearsals and Performances at CLC
PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO LAKE FOREST HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION, the Recital Performances will take place as matinees on Friday, June 12 & Sunday June 14.

NEW STUDENTS: Auditions are required for for levels 2 or higher. Please phone the Dance Centre for an audition day/time. There is a $20 non-refundable audition fee per class. You will be notified of level placement within 48 hours of audition. New students unable to attend audition placement classes will be evaluated the first week of class and then placed accordingly.

CLASSES WILL NOT MEET:

November 24-29, 2008: Thanksgiving Week
December 22, 2008-January 3, 2009: Holiday Break
March 25 (Wed.)-April 7 (Tues.), 2009: Spring Break (2 weeks)
May 25, 2009: Memorial Day

HAZARDOUS/INCLEMENT WEATHER: Jenny’s Dance Centre reserves the right to cancel classes due to hazardous weather. Because of limited studio space and time, canceled classes are not re-scheduled. However, students are welcome to make-up a canceled class in another class of their choice provided it is the appropriate level and/or subject. In the event classes may be canceled, please phone the Dance Centre voice mail for cancellation announcements or check our web site www.JennysDanceCentre.com.

Recital Costume and Ticket fees will be separate.

REFUND POLICY: No refunds will be given after August 22, 2008. There will be a $50 service fee charged for each class refunded before the deadline.

CREDIT POLICY: Credit towards future tuition will be considered if a student suffers a serious injury or illness. Requests for medical credit must be made in writing and be accompanied by a physician’s certificate. Credit is only valid for the specific student to whom it is issued.

No half headbands. Full fabric or knit only.
No skirts below top of thigh
No skirts in Jazz Classes
No tutus
No anklets, leg warmers or socks are to be worn over tights.
Tights are to be worn at all times.
No tights with holes, please.
No bicycle shorts (boys only) or bike unitards
No jewelry, watches or chewing gum in class
No loose fitting garments are to be worn over leotards such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, boxer shorts, soccer shorts, baggy dance pants, sweat pants, etc. (These items are permitted in Hip-Hop, in fact, it is encouraged!)

Please adhere to the dress code. We promote a professional, non-competitive atmosphere for a dance education. Neatness is a must as it effects one’s performance within the classroom.
